An Air Tightness Testing (also known as Air Leakage / Pressure / Permeability testing) is an essential part of Part L Regulation compliance, this is to ensure the assumed air permeability used in the SBEM Calculation has been achieved.
The Complete Energy Air Testing Team are fully accredited and registered with the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing giving us authority to provide certified reports which can be used to satisfy Building Control requirements.
Using our expert knowledge we advise you on exactly what you need to do to achieve a PASS for each of your buildings. Prior to the site assessment we will send you a Complete Tightness Checklist which identifies the main areas of air leakage in buildings and gives advice on how to improve air tightness.
Test results will be given on site on the day of assessment. If any remedial work is required to PASS our qualified assessors can assist in carrying out such works before retesting the building to ensure Complete compliance.
All certificates will be issued within 24 hours of assessment.
